Checking out the butterflies and then off to find more
Here the boys are checking out the butterfly and then Tor and Delphine followed Jack to find more.

Playground vs Butterflies
After breakfast Brian and Tor played on the playground. Jackie got these pics...

While Liv and I accompanied Jack on his quest to catch a butterfly. He was successful. He caught it all by himself. It was the same one we had caught a few days before. Wild huh?

It was very humid at the Inn
Everything felt wet. Our clothes, the towels, even book pages. Just check out my hair...

and Jack's hair.
We took the family to Cooke's for dinner
That night we took everyone to Cooke's for dinner. I only got pics of Liv in Daddy's arms.

Here the boys are last year at Cooke's.
Bestemor & Liv at the playground
On the way back from the harbor cruise we stopped by Barnes & Noble and got a few books and some green tea at Starbucks. When we got back to the Inn, Grandma Jackie, Bestemor, Tante Jenny and cousin Delphine were waiting for us at the playground.

The Happy Jack
We saw this boat on the way out of the harbor and got a nice picture of it on the way back in.

Hyannis harbor cruise
Tuesday afternoon Grandma Jackie, Bestermor, Tante Jenny and cousin Delphine were coming over. The kids were so excited but we had a few hours to kill before they got there. After the trampolines, we ate lunch at Spanky's overlooking the port and then on the spur of the moment took a harbor cruise. It wasn't cold on land, but it was overcast. Luckily we had their jeans jackets in the car because out on the open water it was pretty cold.

The whole family at Jump on Us
On Tuesday of our trip, we continued our morning routine. Breakfast at the Inn, playing on the playground and jumping on trampolines. We did that every day :). This time we also took pics of Liv.

She sure grew in a month.
Sleeping arrangements
We had two queen beds in our cabin. Daddy would start out sleeping in the middle of the boys and then sometime in the middle of the night he would sleep on the other side of Liv in the other bed with me. After nursing Liv one night I checked on the boys and I couldn't resist taking a picture of them sleeping together. They are so sweet.

Entering Dennis
Driving up Routes 1 & 9 in New Jersey when Brian was in high school, he would always giggle when he saw the big green sign that said "Entering Elizabeth." Eventually the town of Elizabeth wised up and changed the sign to "Welcome to Elizabeth."
The town of Dennis hasn't wised up yet and Brian giggled every time we drove by this sign on the way back to the Inn.

No one ate lunch at the pool after all
Brian and I were still full from breakfast, so we just ordered food for the kids. It took the pool guy a long time to bring it so when he did we asked for ice cream sandwiches for dessert. Well he brought those right away. The kids ended up just playing with their food and eating the ice cream sandwiches. Nothing is better than an ice cream sandwich on a warm sunny day at the pool/beach. Brings back memories of my childhood :).
Liv woke up and wanted to eat too, so while I nursed her, the boys played on the little putt-putt course next to the pool. Then we headed out for a nice meal that wasn't fried seafood. We ate at Hearth 'n Kettle and the boys tried their very first corn dog and ate some really good mac 'n cheese. Not the healthiest but they enjoyed it. A hot dog wrapped in corn bread, how cool is that for a kid? Brian and I had salads with our non fried meal :). Liv had some rice cereal.

Jack also drew a really cool putt-putt golf course on the back of his place-mat.

Mama clearly missing the Do Not Dive warnings
After lunch, Brian watched Liv while I went in the pool with the boys. Remember how I said I teased him about how he was easing himself into the water because it was cold? He was downright laughing at me as I got into the pool and realized that it really was freezing and began easing myself in. I decided to just dive in instead, you know just get wet all at once, so I did.
There were a million do not dive signs all over the place. On the pool tiles, posted around the pool on the walls and on the fence. Somehow I did not see them. I really didn't. As soon as I came up from my dive the boys started yelling at me. Whoops. "Mama, you were wrong." Yes I was. Oh well.

Lighthouse Inn Pool
Next day after we ate breakfast and played on the playground, we went to the pool. Brian took the boys in first. He said it was really cold. He had to ease himself in. I teased him.

The kids had a great time jumping in Daddy's arms over and over again. Tor was the first one out so we could have lunch. Wrapped up in his towels he looks like a Merman doesn't he? He swam a lot longer than he did last year.

Jack got a hot dog and Tor got a cheese burger. Here is Jack clowning around and then Tor doing what his big brother does.
