A couple Sunday's ago we met Aviva, Eric and Linda for a playdate with Eason, Andi and Sam. We have been to the farm at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center several times but we had never been to the natural playground. We also saw the Lego exhibit.

I had Liv resting on Jack's bed while I coated Jack's body with SPF 50 sunscreen. When I was done he cuddled with his sister and I had the camera in my pocket so...

Don't know if you can tell in this pick, but they have the same nose -- my nose. Tor has his Daddy's nose.
Aviva, Eason's mom, had a craft playdate. It was a lot of fun. She had all sorts of crafts for the kids and really great food too. I met two of her neighbors. One looked familiar. Turns out he is the computer teacher at one of the private schools we looked at for Jack. The other one was a really nice Greek Yiayia. I spoke Greek with her for a long time. That felt really nice. I haven't spoken Greek in such a long time but it all came back.
Here are some photo's I took and Eason has even more on his blog.

My cousin Maggie got us these personalized smocks when she got James his, and they were perfect.
I have known Dorie since we were high school sophomores and we have kept in touch over the years. She and her family came East for their summer vacation and stayed with us one night. Here we are with Liv and then with Dorie's mom too.

The kids wearing their favorite Nemo pj's

Some nice family shots. Tor likes making faces at the camera now. Jack loves his flip-flops, his first ever.

This is one of my favorite outfits for Liv, I also got it in a size 12-18 months for next summer.

We also had a playdate with Sumer at the Dam park. Jack had a great time riding his bike.

We had a playdate a few weeks back at the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk. Sam, Charlotte, Jack E., and Graham were there. Charlotte took a picture of the albino alligator while I nursed Liv.

On Friday we went up to Aunt Nanette and Grandma Jackie's cabin to spend the 4th with them. Little cousin Kailyn and Bestemor had been there for a couple of days and that day Aunt Debbie flew in and Cousin Jamie drove up with little cousins Kaitlyn, Samantha, Jessica and Bubba. Grandpa Noel was there too, of course, and he made us the best burgers we have ever had on a bbq grill.
Here we all are singing Bestemor a happy birthday.
Here is Brian opening his Father's Day cards at the end of the evening. Tor and Jack both got him Mr. Incredible cards and Liv got him a giraffe card.

Not a car silly -- some Keen amphibious ready footwear. They are sort of a cross between sneakers and sandals because Brian doesn't like wearing sandals, he is a sneaker guy. He isn't so sure about these either.

Liv is looking at the lights, she is fascinated by them.

This year we took Daddy to a really nice buffet for Father's Day. They had all you can eat shrimp, Brian's favorite and the main reason I picked the place.
