Cheap Trick and Conundrum

Last night Brian, Sarah, and I went to one of our favorite restaurants, Redeye Grill. Sarah got to the restaurant before we did and ordered a bottle of Conundrum for us. It was great, but it came with a screw cap which was puzzling. It was just a little deceptive, I mean I associate screw cap wine with my college days, not with fine dining. Its creator Jon Bolta says he has had positive response to the screw cap so what do I know, it's just another of life's little mysteries :).

Anyway, I liked the wine so much and it is a house wine after all, so I have decided that this should be our house wine. Perfect isn't it?

After dinner we went to see my all time favorite live band -- Cheap Trick. I have seen them at least 40 times. In fact, they were my first concert as a teenager, if you don't count Liberace (and I don't). It was a great show, as always. Even Sarah had a good time. She ordered a Dewars on the rocks just like I did. How cool is that? I don't know a lot of women that drink Scotch.

Back to Cheap Trick, two summers ago we took Jack to see them at an outdoor concert at Rye Playland. So they were his first concert too. He had a great time clapping and dancing to the music. I think it's great that we both had the same "first concerts."

Victor's first concert was The Laurie Berkner Band. In fact he has seen her twice so far. Three times if you count the time I was 8 months pregnant. We are going to see her again in January in Steamboat Springs. Lucky boys, lucky Mama.

Coors light??? You must be talking about YOUR half of the house. Amstel Light or Red Stripe are the house beers for MY half of the house :).

Nice conundrum riff: puzzling, a little deceptive, life's little mysteries, conundrum. Coors Light is our house beer, by the way. ;-)
