Jack's 4th Birthday Party

I have got to stop being a procrastinator. I have been one my whole life. No big deal, right? Stuff gets done, just with a little extra anxiety added in. Keeps me sharp!

Moms cannot procrastinate. Well they can but usually not with great results. See, Jack's birthday comes the same day each year, I know that, everyone knows that. So do you think I would think to plan his party months in advance? Uh, no.

Jack wanted to have his party this year at Jeepers at Palisades, just like he did last year. He loves the place. Well, I found out it was closed and another party place, Krazy City, opened in a different location in the mall. A friend of mine told me it wasn't as good as Jeepers.

So I tried to convince Jack to have his party at Stepping Stones Museum. Luckily for me he didn't go for it because after a day and a half of calling them, they finally called and told me the 4 possible dates I was looking at were all booked and had been booked for three months (see the first two paragraphs).

Today we all went to check out Krazy City and it just wasn't age appropriate. It was really dark and filled with teenagers. It reminded me of the first place I had booked on the phone (at the last minute) for Jack's third birthday party but cancelled after I visited it.

So we went and checked out Bellizzi in Mount Kisco. Kidsavvy recommended it for young children. They had my first choice for the day and time I wanted. Jack loved it too. It's perfect.

We are so excited!

(Ugh, everything worked out perfectly even after I procrastinated, I am never going to learn my lesson! I am going to do this again next year, I just know it.)
