I made Easter Bread all by myself for the first time
It's my Yiayia's recipe that my mom perfected and adapted for a bread machine.

Me too! Yiayia's bread with Yiayia's salt box :). The picture wasn't staged either, everything that is behind the bread is actually there all the time. Just looks great in the picture.
Mom gave me that spice rack, you gave me the grape plaque, Bestemor gave me the grape basket (that I keep my morning tea bags and garlic in), the salt box was my Yiayia's and I bought the pink pepper grinder for myself :).
It's a busy little work area!

Well I planned to make koralakia and kourambethes too, but ran out of time. Oh well. I still have all the ingredients, so I'll just make them for fun one afternoon.

Aw, thanks Eleni. That means a lot. I'll send you the recipe since she's your Yiayia too! With the bread machine it is actually really easy I couldn't believe it. I miss you and love you lots.
Oh and did you know that you use the same recipe for New Year's Bread, you just put coins in the bread instead of hard boiled eggs? All this time I never knew. Funny.
