Yesterday afternoon Brian and I went to pick out our new glasses. It was so exciting and I had so much fun. I have never had a pair of glasses before, well besides sunglasses. I LOVE sunglasses, so you can imagine how much I would love reading glasses. The first frame I tried on ended up being the one we ordered. They look very similar to the bottom pair of glasses in the picture.

Brian's current glasses are rimless on the bottom of the lenses. We looked at ones just like that and then at a pair that were totally rimless. Those looked awesome on him so we ordered those with transition lenses. He's so hot. He has the best blue eyes (well except for Jack, but Jack has Brian's eyes) and these rimless glasses really make them pop. It's almost as if he doesn't have glasses on at all which in about 6 months might actually be the case. He is a perfect candidate for lasix his doctor said. Since he hasn't had new glasses in 11 years though, she wants him to wear the new prescription for about 6 months to let his eyes adjust and then retest them.

Brian wanted me to get rimless glasses too, but they didn't look like glasses, and I wanted glasses that looked like glasses. Dorothy Parker was so wrong!
