Live at Budokan 1978 & 2008

I LOVE Cheap Trick. In fact, Cheap Trick was the first rock concert I ever went to and Jack's first concert too. I just heard "Surrender" on the radio and the DJ talked a lot about Cheap Trick. He said they are doing a 30 year anniversary show at Budokan. The live recording from there in April 28th, 1978 made them famous. How cool is that?

Actually I don't think I know Jim S. If you go to Google and put in "live at Budokan 1978" or "live at Budokan 2008" this post is the third search result. Pretty cool! (Thanks Craig and Ryan.)

Ha and I thought that I got traffic from google, wishful thinking. Getting a comment from your brother is even cooler though! Do you know that all the years I have known you (26 years) I have never met your brother?

Cheap trick covered The Beatles "Sgt. Pepper's" last year in LA. They cover them really well!

Wasn't Jim S. starting his senior year when that album came out? They're still cool today...just like my "bro".
I so enjoy hitting the links to your older posts: Turns out, Conundrum winery is building a new facility about 10 miles south of my office (outside of my work area, though).

Jim S. should be a tall, red-headed guy who lives about 120 miles north of you...he's my Beatle-fan (and Cheap-Trick-fan) brother. :)

I saw a Cheap Trick show in Glens Falls,N.Y. about 1983 or 1984. I was close to the stage near the end of the show. Rick Nielsen, the guitar player, threw out to the crowd some of his guitar picks.I found one on the floor.
