Sunday

• Thought I hated on hold music. Called place with no on hold music & was on hold for 5 min. Kept wondering if I was disconnected. annoying. 12:16am
• Just got a pic with Sir Top N Hat (sp) now waiting for Thomas. 2:39pm
• In line at train show at Botanical Gardens. Kids excited. 5:30pm
• Woman behind us is reading every sign super loud. Liv is sleeping. Ugh. 6:34pm

Monday

• Found a good use for that MGD Lite Brian bought the other day (since it is nasty) Used it to boil shrimp with Old Bay, garlic & lemon. Yum. 5:52pm
• Now making main course -- scallops over ww linguine. Also on my second & unfortunately last, Red Stripe. Still gotta take care of the kids. 6:10pm
• @Dorie93950 yes, jack went back to school but no pe or recess. he sat out & drew pics instead. doc appt tomorrow pm to recheck spleen size. 7:18pm

Tuesday

• Tor has climbed in the pack n play with Liv. Both are peering at me through the mesh. Too cute. 9:54am
• Sorted laundry & left on floor overnight. Dogs have new red Xmas bones. Dogs like to lie on laundry. Dogs ate red bone on my new white shirt 10:02am
• my new white shirt has splotches of red all over it. now soaking in shout but looks hopeless. live and learn. 10:04am

• Liv just got two shots. No earrings today. Just couldn't do it even though Brian finally said ok. Maybe next time. 4:38pm
• made dinner one-handed tonight. Liv has fever, refuses to be put down. Baked salmon, cut and steamed zucchini, made pasta. cutting was hard 7:08pm

• Well I got too busy with the kids to remember to TiVo Scrubs. Luckily for me (and Brian) it is playing again tomorrow night at 8pm. Cool. 10:49pm

Wednesday

• It is super icy outside. Brian said it took him 15 minutes just to back down the driveway. His flt is boarding now. Hope deicer works. Scary 5:45am
• Brian's flt took off an hour and a half late. He only had an hour between connections. Hope Chicago flt delayed too. 9:00am

Thursday

• Putting 3 kids to bed last night without Daddy was no fun. They were much better after we called him. Not looking forward to bedtime tonight 12:28am

Friday

• Picked up all the boys toys off the floor & put baby toys on floor. Put baby on floor. She played w/ her toys, I sat down on couch w/laptop 9:24pm
• Looked up, she had somehow found hot wheels car (under couch??) and was happily chewing on it. Too funny. 9:25pm

Saturday

• Roasting a leg of lamb at 9am. Feel like my mom. Brian hates lamb so haven't done this in 10+ yrs. Got bday party later & not sure how long 9:34am
• want lamb to be done before we have to leave. unless we get snowed in then it doesn't matter. 9:35am
• Lunch is ready. Sampled lamb, it is soooooooo good. Time to eat and get ready for Mitch's party in Norwalk. Seems snow will be bad later. 11:13am
• Heading home from Connecticut. 3:28pm
• Kids liked my meals today. Had 3rd helpings of lamb & 3rd helpings of spinach ravioli. Kitchen is a disaster but kids happy. So I am ok w/it 7:35pm
• @Dorie93950 we have lamb every time he goes away. I have tried cooking that for us & steak for him but he can't even stand the cooking smell 7:38pm
• Looking out 2nd floor window. Fresh shoeprints up driveway. No one rang bell. Not very comforting. May be why dogs just went nuts outside. 8:40pm
• Dogs inside and fine. Alarm is on. It is just weird is all. 8:44pm
