On Thursday Jack had a half day at school due to Parent Teacher Conferences. We decided that would be a perfect day to go to the New York Botanical Gardens to see their Holiday Train Show. We were right, hardly anyone was there. We had a great time at the trains, especially Livi. She LOVED it.
That day was one of the coldest we have had this winter so far. The high was in the upper 20's. It was freezing. The train show is in the conservatory and it is a balmy 70 degrees and humid. It is always nice going into the show but quite a shock walking across the gardens to the Children's Adventure Garden in the freezing cold after.
Here the kids are playing in the garden.
